Says the Taft party which visited Hawaii regarded Kuhio as a persistent, incurable failure, why didn't we send a competent man to Washington. Bystander says Kuhio is incapable of drawing up bills or of knowing what is in a bill, McClellan has to do it for him. He is there because of his color. All he does is draw a salary.
Says the bills passed favoring Hawaii have all been the work of somebody else. Most often of somebody who pronounces it Hawaya and calls it Sandwich Isles.
