The crowd consumed two bullocks, 6 grown pigs, 4 doz. chickens, 6 barrels poi, 5 barrels beer, 10 cases soda water, 7 bags of potatoes, 2 bags luau, also opae, opihi, loli, kukui. Two large imus built, consumed 1½ cords wood, 980 laulau and 1 whole pig cooked in one imu. Workers were paid $1 a day.
