GIFTS FOR FIGHTERS: Volunteer workers this week are distributing thousands of Victory Kit packages which generous Honolulans are being called upon to fill with small gifts and personal effects for soilders stationed in the islands. The project, approved by military authorities, is being sponsored by the Honolulu Civic association (formerly the Hawaiian-Japanese Civic association).
