Not Bloody Nose Ridge, but a view eastward showing the airfield at top, taken from above the west coast. The beach at left is the southern part of the beach fronting Ngerkeyukl village, called Chelechol ra Ngebedangel. The Americans called it White Beach 1&2. The famous coral outcrop "the Point", heavily fotified by the Japanese, lies out of photo to left (north). The coral outcrop visible in photo was called Iyai and marks the boundary between Ngerkeyukl and Teliu village, to its south. The beach visible at right is the northern portion of Teliu's beachfront, Chelechol ra Bkulabeluu. In the caption, reference to "enroute Angaur" refers to there was no landing field more near to Koror. After landing an Angaur you then had to travel to Koror via the surplus "M-Boat".
